Thrilled!

Here's a second update from the road for you all. Right now Nomi and I are in Idaho for a family reunion. Since I last updated, we went to Canada, got to see a Low Life (great band) concert in New York City, and traveled four straight days to Portland, Oregon. I have to say, Portland is the cleanest, friendliest, most active, and most relaxing city in the US. I've always wanted to live there ever since Jake started telling me about it years ago. Silly, I know, but I since that time I started planning my life around living there because it sounded so great. Then, four or five years later, I finally got to see the place. And what's changed about my decision to live in Portland since I've seen it? Noithing! I STILL want to live, even more now that I've seen it for myself. It's great knowing that my plans don't need much changing.

Anywho, with any luck I'll get to see Mike today or tomorrow. Not sure if he's as excited as me, but I'm thrilled. When I stopped by Tech on our way to Los Cruses, I kept feeling this reminiscient nagging, like I expected to see him around every turn, just skating or walking or doing whatever Mike does. It made me realize just how much I sorely miss him, so I'm really hopefull to get to see him.

One more week on the road, and I'll be back in Gallup...home. I can't wait. The trip's been a blast, but I'm ready for it to end. So take care everyone. I'll see you in a week or so!

Glad to hear that everything's going well. All of us will have to get together some time before classes start for everyone... that would be really neat. Continue having a safe trip, Joelykins.
